Pay Per View (PPV) Using pay per view (PPV) has been made simple over the years. Now, all you have to do is pick out a movie or a program from the 55+ options per day, and order either on-line, with your remote, or by telephone. PPV offers many different options including movies, sporting events, and adult pay per view programs.

Using DIRECTV Satellite TV provider

On-line - Start off by going to the pay per view ordering page from DirecTV. Once you have entered the site, you will want to choose the movie or event that you would like to watch. Next you click the order link/button. You will now be asked to register or sign in. If you are registering for the first time they will ask for your account number. The next step is to choose the date you want to watch the program, the room you want to watch it in, and your method of payment. Now, all that’s left is the confirmation, and then enjoy.

By Phone – First find the movie or event that you would like to view then call 1-800-531-5000. You will then be asked to use the touch-tone system to order, and they will talk you through the procedure. You also have the option of talking to a service representative if you are not comfortable with the touch-tone method. Keep in mind that additional phone order assistance free will apply (approximately $1.50-$5.00).

By Remote – First make sure that your phone line is connected to your digital satellite receiver. Next you will find the movie or program that you would like to view starting at channel 117 using your on-screen guide. Next, change to the channel that the movie or program is playing and hit OK to order.

DISH network pay per view

Online – First you will need to go onto the website for Dish Network pay per view selections. Then you will need to register if you have not already done so. This requires your account number and home telephone number (or the number associated with the account). You will just have to click on the select button of the program you want to view, and follow the directions as you go.

By Phone – In order to choose the program you want to watch before calling you can use the online site, or the guide on your television. Once you have decided which program you would like to order, you call 1-877-DISH-PPV (347-4778).

By Remote – This is most likely the easiest and inexpensive way to order DISH network PPV. Make sure you have the phone line connected to your satellite receiver, and get ready to order with your remote. First you will highlight the program you would like to order in the on-screen guide. Next you will press the select button on your remote. Now, just follow the easy instructions provided on your television screen.
